The Dowse is pleased to host Rio Hunuki-Hemopo, most well known as a member of Trinity Roots, with Warren Maxwell (Little Bushman) and Riki Gooch (Eru Dangerspiel). Rio was a bro-vocalist for Freddy's UK/Europe Fantastic Voyages Tour 2007 and bassist for Breaks Co-Op.
With Trinity Roots, Rio has played alongside international acts including Ben Harper, Lee Scratch Perry, The Mad Professor as well as locals, Fat Freddys Drop, Salmonella Dub and Che Fu. The band's song Little Things was featured in an episode of bro' Town. Rio features in the documentary.
