Conducted by Maori artist/designer Ross Hemera, this workshop introduces creative ways to work with one of Aotearoa/New Zealand’s most well known images – the koru. Learn how to avoid cultural appropriation by discovering the significance and meaning of this cultural symbol. The workshop includes a studio session combining discussion and practical work - art experience is not required. Brought to you by Massey University's BLOW Creative Arts Festival.
