The Dowse Gold Award

The winner of the 2009 Gold Award is Areta Wilkinson.

A biennial award offered to contemporary jewellers, proudly supported by the Dowse Foundation.

The judges are in search of a design that demonstrates an understanding of gold in the fullest sense – technical and cultural.

The winning design is destined for The Dowse collection where it will sit alongside outstanding works by previous Gold Award winners Pauline Bern, Joanna Campbell, Kirsten Haydon and Lynn Kelly.

The recipient of The Dowse Gold Award receives an award package valued at $10,000, comprised of not less than $5000 in gold and the balance in cash.
